The majority of the rain will come to an end this evening, and then lake effect will start developing overnight. Lake effect precipitation will start as rain, but as temperatures drop near freezing we will see more snowflakes mixing in. Sunday morning through midday, lake effect snow showers will be possible, especially for Berrien, Cass and St. Joseph counties in Michigan, and LaPorte, St. Joseph, Elkhart, LaGrange, Kosciusko counties in Indiana. Depending on if temperatures stay near freezing during heaviest duration of lake effect snow, we could see up to .3 inches accumulate. Winds stay breezy with gusts near 25 mph.
Tonight: Rain showers to mix to snow showers. Low of 31.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy with chance of lake effect snow showers in the morning and early afternoon. High of 35.
Monday: Partly sunny and breezy. Highs in the upper 40s.
