Upcoming road project may cause delays for Mishawaka drivers

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Watch out, Mishawaka drivers!  An upcoming paving and milling project may cost you some extra travel time during your daily commute.

The Engineering Department from the City of Mishawaka contacted ABC 57 News on Thursday to inform drivers of an upcoming milling and paving project.

On Friday, Oct. 14, milling work will begin on Cleveland Street at several locations:

  1. Cleveland St., south of 8th St., in front of Precision Woods Products, Inc. (800 S. Cleveland St.)

  2. Cleveland St. between 8th St. and 7th St.

  3. Cleveland St., just south of 4th St.

The Field Engineer, Aaron King, says that the milling of the roads in these areas will carry over to Saturday, Oct. 15. 

King also says that the paving of the roads in these areas will take place starting on Monday, Oct. 17, and will end on Wednesday, Oct. 19.

Drivers are reminded to be aware of delays and detours affecting these areas.  You may just want to avoid the traveling on this roads until the work has been completed.
