UPDATE: Autopsy determines infant died of natural causes

ST. JOSEPH CO., Ind. -- We have an update on a story we first broke online Monday night before our 11 p.m. newscast.
On Monday night, South Bend police responded to a call about an infant death at a home at the intersection of Lincoln Way West and Sherman Avenue. When they arrived, they observed suspicious circumstances and called in the County Metro Homicide Unit to investigate.
The autopsy is now complete. The Prosecutor's Office told ABC 57 News that the results indicate the baby died of natural causes.
The investigation by CMHU has been closed.
