UPDATE: Busy Mishawaka intersection scheduled to open for thru traffic

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Some relief is on the way for Mishawaka drivers.
NIPSCO will remove traffic restrictions at a busy intersection.
Drivers will finally be able to turn at Grape and Douglas, starting at 8 a.m. on Thursday.
The intersection was closed on June 18 to move gas lines. NISPSO said that moving the gas lines would make it easier to make repairs in the future.
The project took three weeks to complete.
