UPDATE: Cass County shooting suspects arrested in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Two suspects believed to be involved in a shooting were tracked down by Cass County officials.

South Bend Police arrested Anthony Bostick,21, and Kayla Johnson,21, without incident Thursday at 9:30 p.m. on 1610 South Marine Street. The weapon believed to be used in the shooting was also found hidden at the residence.

Both suspects were booked in the St. Joe County Jail pending extradition to Cass County, Michigan.

On Thursday, a driver called 911 and said they witnessed a shooting at a home on Carberry Road near the Spiritual Vision of God Church.

Witnesses told police that after the argument, a man believed to be Bostick, walked back to his car to get a gun, then started shooting at a group of people in the backyard. He then got back into his car and drove away.

Bostick, who is on parole, is being held for attempted murder and violation of parole. Johnson is being charged with aiding and abetting on a felony crime.

Additional charges are expected to follow as the investigation proceeds.
