UPDATE: Conservation officers still investigating body found at Indiana Dunes

PORTER COUNTY, Ind. -- Indiana conservation officers still investigating a body that was found on the shore from Lake Michigan.

It was discovered at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, near Lakefront Drive in Beverly Shores.

The Porter County Coroner is still trying to figure out exactly how he died. The autopsy was finished and it was inconclusive.

Now toxicology tests are in the works.

The body appeared to have washed up from Lake Michigan.

Investigators said that decomposition left the face unrecognizable. Some clothes and shoes were left on the body. There also appears to be evidence of a beard.
