Drugs found after Mishawaka man crashes after pursuit

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The man involved in a pursuit that ended in a crash Thursday in Mishawaka has been identified. 

Kevin Weber, 50, was transported to Marshall County Jail by police Saturday morning after being released from the hospital.

Weber is in jail for an active warrant for a felony involving dealing Methamphetamine, police say.

According to police, the Mishawaka Police Department attempted to make a traffic stop on Weber near Battel and Division, but he allegedly fled.

The pursuit ended in a crash with another car on Lincolnway and Ironwood as Weber was headed westbound.

Police say they located 292 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, 30 grams of suspected heroin and 31 grams of suspected marijuana from the vehicle.
