AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- New information has been released on the Notre Dame student accused of having something to do with his father's disappearance.
According to our sister station WXYZ in Detroit, 21-year-old Patrick Mikes Jr. is now out of jail on bond, but now he's being called a murder suspect.
WXYZ also reports that investigators discovered surveillance video of him buying cleaning supplies from a store Friday night.
Police think 55-year-old Patrick Mikes Sr., his dad, was killed in the basement of his home after what's being called a "violent encounter."
Mikes and his younger brother told police their father went for a bike ride Sunday and hasn't been seen since.
