Update on the Pulaski County neglect trial

PULASKI COUNTY, Ind. -- The surviving people charged with neglect of a dependent had their final pretrial conference on Dec. 21st.
The attorneys agreed to do a guilty plea deal for Christopher Short and Patricia Meeks.
According to the court, the original jury trial that was scheduled Jan. 22nd to Jan. 25th has been changed to an entry of plea hearings for Short and Meeks on Jan. 25th.
The original May 2nd to 4th trial for those charged with failure to report is still active.
