UPDATE: Silver Alert has been canceled.

ROCHESTER, Ind. -- A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for 16-year-old Kipton "Kip" Harris out of Rochester.

The Rochester Police Department is investigating the disappearance.

Harris is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 145 pounds, red hair with blue eyes, last seen wearing a light-colored shirt, camo pants, and black and white shoes.

Harris was last seen on May 7 around 12:56 p.m.

Police believe he may be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance. 

Harris is believed to be in or traveling to the downtown Indianapolis area.
