Update: Three die in mobile home fire

ROACHDALE, Ind. -- An elderly mom and her two adult children died in a house fire Sunday morning northwest of Indy.

Firefighters are now saying they do not believe there were any smoke detectors inside that house.

"We can't stress enough how important that is because that probably would have made a difference in this fire," said Chief Mike Poole, Roachdale Fire Department.

A neighbor told a firefighter that the mobile home was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived.

It takes as little as 7-minutes for a mobile home to be destroyed by fire.
