South Bend Auto Show 2025 at Century Center
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- On Thursday morning, the South Bend Police Department publicly identified the victim of Wednesday’s homicide on E. Indiana Avenue as 31-year-old Damien Wafford, Jr. of South Bend.
"His family has been notified," SBPD said. "The investigation surrounding this shooting is ongoing by the South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit. There is no suspect information we are able to share publicly at this time."
