Updates on recovery from Monday afternoon's storms

These are the latest updates on the damage from Monday afternoon's storm.

SR39 closed in La Porte County

As of 5 p.m. Tuesday, one lane in each direction of SR39 remained closed. The La Porte County Sheriff's Office says both lanes should be reopened later Tuesday.

Power outages
As of 5 p.m., Indiana Michigan Power reports there are 10,400 customers without power in Indiana and 6,300 customers without power in Michigan.

INDIANA
Elkhart - Tuesday by 11:00 p.m.
South Bend - Thursday by 3:00 p.m.
La Porte - Thursday by 3:00 p.m.

MICHIGAN
Three Rivers - Tuesday by 4:00 p.m.
Benton Harbor - Wednesday by 11:59 p.m.
Buchanan - Thursday by 11:59 p.m.
