UPS stops giving grants to Boy Scouts

ATLANTA – UPS says it will no longer give grants to the Boy Scouts of America because the organization excludes gays and lesbians.

The Atlanta-based shipping giant announced the change after more than 80,000 people signed an online petition.

According to its federal tax return, the UPS foundation gave more than $85,000 to the Boy Scouts last year.
