U.S. 30 culvert replacements will switch lanes

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation announced the project to replace damaged culverts on U.S. 30, east of SR 331, will shift from the westbound lanes to the eastbound lanes on Thursday.

This means the open lanes will switch from the eastbound lanes to westbound lanes on Thursday as well.

INDOT estimates the new culverts will be fully replaced in approximately two weeks from Thursday, opening back up the eastbound lanes.

The department announced an official detour route will follow SR 19, SR 10 and SR 331 when the road closure switches to the eastbound lanes.
