US 31 lane closures in Argos have been rescheduled
MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation has rescheduled the lane restrictions for adding a Weigh-in-Motion system on U.S. 31 in Argos between mile markers 216 and 218. This will affect traffic from April 13 to 15.
On April 13 at 7 a.m. the northbound and southbound traffic will only be able to drive in the outside lanes. There will be a ten foot driving lane with an 11 foot shoulder.
On April 14 at 7 a.m. the northbound and southbound traffic will change to driving on the inside lanes only. There will be a ten foot driving lane with a four foot shoulder.
The work is all expected to be finished by 11 a.m. on April 15 depending on weather.
INDOT encourages drivers to plan for extra driving time while going through construction areas.
