US 35 will be closed for over three weeks

LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that there will be a full road closure on US 35 beginning on Sunday.
INDOT announced as well that there is a possibility that this closure could begin on November 1.
This closure is estimated to last approximately three and a half weeks while the Indiana Toll Road repairs their bridge that passes over US 35.
An official detour to commute around this US 35 closure will follow US 20 and State Road 39.
