U.S. 40 garage sale under way

INDIANAPOLIS -- If you are looking for a bargain, look no further than U.S. 40.
On Thursday, the historic garage sale along U.S. 40 is in full swing.
People are opening up sales all along the highway from Baltimore to St. Louis.
In Indiana, that is 144 miles from Richmond to Terre Haute.
People are already hitting the road in search of a deal.
"Well, it's kind of interesting just to find what other people have and want to get rid of -- I'm retired and just enjoy getting out," said John Soladine.
The garage sale ends Sunday.
If you are going, police say to be careful when pulling over along U.S. 40.
