U.S. 6 and S.R. 331 closure dates change

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced changes to the start dates for road work on U.S. 6 and S.R. 331 near Bremen.

The U.S. 6 bridge over S.R. 331 will be closed beginning on or after Monday, May 3 for a bridge deck overlay and painting project.

An alternative route will follow S.R. 106.

S.R. 331 will have lane closures under the U.S. 6 bridge during the bridge cleaning and painting project beginning on or after Monday, May 3.

Flaggers will direct traffic during these restrictions.

S.R. 331 will also have lane closures between S.R. 106 east and U.S. 30 beginning Wednesday, April 28 for a paving project.

Flaggers will direct traffic in that area as well.

The projects are expected to continue through early July 2021.
