The U.S. took down another object in the sky this weekend, this time right above Lake Huron in Michigan.
According to the U.S., the object was first detected on Friday night, leaving both U.S. and Canadian planes scrambling to figure out what it could be.
It was eventually shot down by a U.S. military aircraft on Sunday afternoon, landing somewhere in Canadian waters.
The Pentagon confirmed the takedown, saying it’s been on high alert since the Chinese spy balloon had to be shot down earlier this month.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and president Joe Biden are both working together now to recover debris from the waters and hopefully get an idea of what this object could be.
This incident adds to a list of other unidentified objects shot down by the U.S. just this month, starting with a suspected Chinese spy balloon on February 4th.
On Friday, a U.S. fighter jet also shot down an object above Alaska.
Then Saturday, another unidentified object was shot down over the Yukon in Canada.
U.S. officials are still working to determine what the object is.
