US20 interchanges to close for road work

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation will be closing portions of several interchanges on the US 20 bypass beginning Wednesday for a pavement restoration project.

The project will begin Wednesday, April 3, at the west junction of US 20 with SR 331. The ramp connecting SR 331 to the eastbound lanes of US 20 and the ramp connecting westbound US20 traffic to SR 331 will be closed for approximately one week. One lane in each direction of SR331 will also close.

Once that project is complete, the other two ramps at that intersection will close. The ramp connecting SR331 to westbound US20 and the ramp connecting eastbound US20 to SR331 will be closed for approximately one week. One lane in each direction of SR331 will also close.

Once that project is complete, crews will begin working on the east junction with SR 331, which is expected to begin on or after April 11.
