ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County hosted a walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday.
The organization hosted the clinic at their location near Sample Street and Fellows Street.
One nurse said the clinic was a great opportunity to get more residents vaccinated.
“We’ve also seen a lot of admissions to the hospitals, our local hospitals. And a large percentage of those people are not vaccinated. The ones that are admitted into the hospital are the ones that are not vaccinated,” said Janet Wonderlich, RN at St. Joseph Hospital.
A second vaccine clinic will be hosted at this same location on October 13.
