Van Buren County Courts close for non-essential functions

The picture is an example of how Van Buren County Courts have adapted to continue to serve our community.

Van Buren County announced the courts will be open for essential functions only three days a week through April 13, the court administrator announced Thursday.

Courts will be open to essential functions Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Non-essential matters will be adjourned or addressed per the emergency operations plan.

Normal operations will resume April 14, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. pending further updates.

While the building is closed to the general public, filings can be made by mail, email, fax or placed in the drop box located near the entrance of court facilities.
