MISHAWAKA, Ind. - Mishawaka police are investigating a crash that happened at 2:50 am Sunday.

A vehicle drove through a fence on the 13000 block of Mckinley highway causing personal property damage.

Authorities say that one person, Keith Ellis of Paw Paw Michigan, 30, was taken to the hospital for a forehead injury.

It is believed by the police that alcohol and speed are causing factors to this crash.

A toxicology test was taken and Ellis was cited for driving on a suspended license, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and given a court date.

This crash is still under investigation.
