Vehicle fire accident victim's identity released

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Michigan State Police released the identity of the man whose vehicle struck a tree and caught fire July 25 on Pine Lake Street in Howard Township.
When troopers arrived on scene, they found a 1996 Chevy Blazer on fire and a deceased person inside.
On Thursday, the driver's identity was confirmed as Ari K. Gillow of Cassopolis Michigan.
