Vehicle search leads police to over 46 grams of suspected meth

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. – Deputies arrested a 33-year-old Three Rivers woman and 42-year-old Dowagiac man after deputies conducting a traffic stop and allegedly found over 46 grams of methamphetamine, among other things, in the vehicle, the St. Joseph County, Mich. Office of the Sheriff said.

Deputies allegedly found more than 46.6 grams of suspected methamphetamine, packing materials, a digital scale and a loaded handgun in a vehicle during a search, deputies said.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the 10000 block of Dutch Settlement Road in Fabius Township, deputies said.

The 33-year-old woman is in custody for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, according to deputies.  The 42-year-old man is in custody for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Felony Firearm, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and several misdemeanor offenses, deputies said.

ABC57 has reached out to the St. Joseph County, Mich. Office of the Sheriff to learn when this arrest happened, but we have yet to hear back from them.
