SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A car struck an apartment building and fence in South Bend Tuesday morning, according to St. Joseph County dispatch.
The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. at 601 La Salle.
A witness said he saw the crash and the driver run from the scene.
"I was sitting on my porch and I happened to notice the SUV at a high rate of speed. I noticed he didn't hit the brakes he wanted to turn right and then he just started running over things and was bouncing off of this building. That's when he got stuck on the wrought iron fence," said Tony Golden.
There were no injuries reported in the crash.
