Elkhart Police discovered damage to vehicles and a home while investigating reports of gunfire on West Marion Street.

Police were dispatched to 613 W. Marion Street Tuesday evening around 8 p.m.

They discovered damage at the following addresses:

• 604 West Marion Street: A 2000 Mercury sustained damage to a wheel and window. The residence sustained damage to a door, the siding and a window.
• 605 West Marion Street: A 2007 Nissan sustained damage to a door and quarter panel.
• 613 West Marion Street: A 2009 Chevy sustained damage to 2 windows.

There were no injuries resulting from the gunfire.

Officers collected shell casings in the area.
