Venetian Festival holds memorabilia garage sale

BERRIEN CO., Mich. -- It's your chance to get a piece of "Venetian Festival" history. But you'll need to act fast.

Festival organizers are getting rid of all their memorabilia. Most of it sold before we stopped by on Friday afternoon.

St. Joseph decided to end the festival last summer, now they are having a garage sale.

Emotions were running high on Paw Paw Ave.

People who worked the festival told is reality finally hit that it's over.

"It's sad people pick up a sign and say, 'I remember that event.' It's pretty bad," said Jerry Schlaack, a volunteer.

There is still some merchandise left, especially sweatshirts and posters.

The sale continues from 9 a.m. to 3 pm.
