Venus Williams enrolling at IU East

RICHMOND, Ind.- One of the biggest tennis stars of all time is enrolling at an Indiana University.

It's been confirmed Venus Williams will be pursuing a business degree at its East campus.

The winner of seven singles grand slam titles won't be on campus much though, she signed up for online classes.

Due to privacy concerns, the chancellor could not reveal too many details, but says Williams wants a flexible schedule, and she was drawn to IU's business courses.

Wednesday, she pulled out of the U.S. Open and revealed she recently was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that can cause joint pain.
