Vermont residents make most of heavy rains

VERMONT — Heavy rain caused a mess in parts of Vermont.

 But some residents made the best of it and even had some fun.

Apparently that included dancing in the rain and kayaking down the street.

Kayakers raced down the roads as storm drains tried to keep up.

A sinkhole even opened up, scattering pieces of rocks for blocks.

More rain was expected Thursday.
