Veterans, active-duty military personnel ride South Shore for free

The South Shore Line invites all active-duty military personnel and veterans to ride for free from Nov. 8 to Nov. 11.
At the time of fare collection, passengers are asked to inform train personnel of veteran or active military status for the free ride. Veterans or active-duty military personnel do not have to purchase a ticket nor show military identification.
On Veteran’s Day, trains will follow the regular weekday train schedule.
