Victim of Indianapolis shooting walks into Elkhart urgent care with injuries

ELKHART, Ind.—A victim of a shooting in Indianapolis walked into an Elkhart urgent care with injuries on July 15, according to the Elkhart Police Department. 

Police were sent to the urgent care facility in the 900 block of Johnson Street around 1:23 p.m. on July 15 in regards to a victim walking in with an old gunshot wound.

The victim reported that the wound to his upper leg came from a shooting incident that took place nine days prior in Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the incident.
