Victim to be remembered at IU basketball game

ELKHART, Ind. -- One of the victims of Wednesday's shooting was the mother of a basketball player at IUSB. There will be a moment of silence before Saturday's game to honor 44-year-old Rachelle Godfread.



Godfread's son Joe is on the basketball team. Many students didn't know his mom was a victim.



"Really scary, alarming that it was that close to home. I'm just wondering how the people even closer are affected by it," said IUSB student Camille Gilliam.



At Saturday's game, the school's administration, students, faculty and staff want to show their support for Joe and his mother, who attended games frequently.



Joe won't be playing in the game.
