A pilot got a close-up view of a what appears to be a landspout in Oklahoma on Sunday.
David T. Evans captured the moment on camera as he circled the landspout over Grady County.
According to Chief Meteorologist Tom Coomes, it appears the pilot is in a glider, which rise while riding updrafts. Because of this, the pilot wasn’t facing much danger, as his aircraft was using this particular updraft to gain altitude.
