VIDEO: Speeding car crashes in Benton Harbor

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- UPDATE: Crash investigators say they located roadway evidence and witnesses to the crash and determined that the driver, 33-year-old Darrell Pargo Jr. of Benton Harbor, had passed multiple cars going westbound on Britian Avenue.

Authorities say as he was finishing the pass and getting back into his lane, that's when he lost control and spun out of control hitting a telephone pole.

The vehicle then spun into a second telephone pole with the driver’s side causing the pole to snap in half and sending the vehicle into the air, landing on its passenger side and coming to a stop on its wheels.

Investigators say no other vehicles were involved in the crash and speed was a factor.

Authorities say it's unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol are involved.
