SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A vigil was held Monday evening for Eric Johnson, one of four victims of gun violence throughout Michiana this past weekend.
Johnson was shot and killed by an unidentified suspect on Saturday night near Lasalle Park Homes.
Community members joined together to hold a balloon launch in his memory.
At the gathering, friends and family shared stories of Johnson, his sense of humor and great personality, as well as the role that he played in helping his community members.
