Vigil planned for Elkhart girl killed in accident

ELKHART, Ind. -- Friends and family of a young Elkhart girl killed in a car accident earlier this week will hold a candlelight vigil in her memory Monday.
The 12-year-old was hit by a car on County Road 108 in Elkhart Wednesday night.
She died from her injuries the next day.
The vigil is set for 7:45 p.m. at the Woodland Elementary School softball field.
Those in the community are welcome to attend.
