NILES, Mich. -- A group of retired volunteers that travel the country built an addition for a Niles church, for free.
The Fairland Christian Church will save thousands of dollars building a new addition thanks to the Jack Ballard Builders.
They average 73-years-old but say they are full of passion for what they do.
"We have this saying, you couldn't pay us to work this hard. It's just a joy to help other people and that is what we are all about," said Ron Williams, Jack Ballard volunteer.
This is the 99th building project for the volunteer builders.
