WalMart limits its hours from 24 to 17 to restock and sanitize

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – In response to Coronavirus concerns, WalMart announced on March 14 that they will be moving away from being open for 24 hours a day. Instead, they will only be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

These new hours will go into effect starting March 15.

This change will affect every WalMart store and will remain that way until further notice.

Executive Vice President Dacona Smith said this is to give employees a chance to restock shelves and sanitize the store.
