Wanatah man charged with murder of his son

A Wanatah man has been charged with one count of murder for the shooting death of his son Monday evening, according to the La Porte County Sheriff's Office.
Jason Wetzel, 58, has been charged with one count of murder and is being held on a $1 million cash only bond.
Deputies were called to the 8200 block of CR 1500 S Monday evening and located the body of Jeremiah Wetzel.
The autopsy report shows Jeremiah's death was ruled a homicide.
