It's warmer and muggier today with highs in the upper 80s. The day is mainly dry, although an isolated shower or storm could be possible, especially this evening.
Rain will move in late tonight, leading to a wet day Wednesday with heavy rain and storms. There is the potential for a severe thunderstorm Wednesday also, but storm potential will depend on timing of the rain that morning. The bigger impact that day is likely heavy rain. Some flooding could be possible. Gusty winds are also likely within thunderstorms. Periods of downpours could make driving difficult, especially if the storms and heavy rain develop during the evening commute hours Wednesday.
