Summer-like temperatures are in store for the Michiana area as we head into Sunday and the work week. Although a slight chance of rain is present heading into early Sunday morning, it is unlikely south of the IN/MI state border will be impacted. Chances for rain do increase through the morning and afternoon as Sunday progresses, but the highest chance for rain is Sunday night/Monday morning around 2-3am EDT. These storms have a marginal chance of becoming severe and will most likely be a Threat Tracker Level 1 event. The primary risks associated with these storms will be strong winds and the possibility of small hail. Monday will be characterized by the previous night's storms moving out of Michiana in the AM and the sun returning later in the day. A slight chance of showers is possible on Tuesday morning, but warm temperatures and mostly sunny skies will dominate the day.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 66.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy with scattered storms overnight. High 84.
Monday: Early morning storms followed by partly cloudy skies. High 79.
Tuesday: Possible AM showers with mostly sunny skies after. High 85.
