NOW: Warm Today, Scattered shower and storm chances tomorrow

ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast

Friday, September 19, 2025

Happy Friday! Temperatures start off refreshing this morning in the 50s, with some brief patchy fog possible. If you're a fan of summer, enjoy today—it’ll be the warmest of the week, with highs near 90° and plenty of sunshine.

This weekend brings increasing clouds ahead of some much-needed rain. Scattered showers or storms are possible Saturday, but widespread rain isn't expected. Tailgating and much of the Purdue vs. Notre Dame game should go off without a hitch, though a stray shower can't be ruled out. A tent, poncho, or umbrella is a good idea just in case. An isolated storm could briefly delay the later part of the game if it's near the stadium.

The better chance to see showers would be Sunday through Monday, as a low-pressure system moves through and pushes things along. While any weekend showers will help the ongoing drought, they won’t be enough to alleviate it completely. Cooler weather returns next week, with lingering rain chances midweek.

Today: Mostly sunny, warm. High 88.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, mild. Low 62.

Saturday: Spotty showers & storms. High 82.

Sunday: Scattered Storms, High 80.
