DUNLAP, Ind. -- In what was an incredible back and forth Northern Lakes Showdown between the Tigers and Minutemen, Warsaw held on for a 37-29 victory.
Tigers' senior Grady Nelson had an incredible game, including an interception, a receiving touchdown, and a blocked punt recovery for a touchdown.
Concord trailed 28 to 7 in the first half before storming back to make it a seven point Warsaw lead before halftime, before the Tigers' defense locked up the Minutemen in the second half to secure a victory.
After the game, Warsaw head coach Bart Curtis said "they're so well coached, I know they had a few kids out, and still took us down to the wire, I mean, we were up 28 to 7, and they came storming back, there's no quit in them, and then I was proud of how our kids rallied when things started to go south for us."
Next week will see both these teams finish their regular season schedule on the road.
Warsaw will head to Northridge, and Concord travels to Plymouth.
