KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. – The body found inside a burned home on Chapman Lake Drive in Warsaw last Wednesday has been identified.
The Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office positively identified the body as 65-year-old Stephen T. Hall.
Hall died of smoke inhalation and thermal burns, according to the coroner.
The fire started in the basement of the home. Fire investigators believe a portable heater in the basement started the fire.
Hall was using the heater to thaw out frozen water lines.
