Warsaw man injured while trying to take his tree stand down

NORTH WEBSTER, Ind. - A Warsaw man was seriously injured when he fell from a tree stand Saturday afternoon.
Emergency crews rushed in to help Barry Self, 51, of Warsaw after he fell 13 feet to the ground while trying to take down his tree stand.
The 911 call, made by his 17-year-old son came in at 1:24 p.m.
Self fell on his left side causing injuries to his back and arms.
Self was airlifted from the scene to Parkview Hospital in Fort Waune.
His condition status wasn't imediately available.
