Warsaw Police Department adds new K-9

The Warsaw Police Department has a new K-9 officer - Bubka, a 2-year-old male cocker spaniel.

Bubka, who was born in the Netherlands in 2014, is assigned to the Warsaw Police Narcotics Unit.

Bubka is a narcotic detection canine who is also capable of tracking.

He completed his police training course in July 2015 at Vohne Liche Kennels in Denver, Indiana.

Bubka was purchased through funds provided by a donor.

The department has two other K-9s - Dax and Mako.
