Washington's head girls basketball coach resigns

South Bend’s Washington High School has confirmed head girl's basketball coach Maurice Scott has resigned.
Coach Scott recorded a 91- 45 record over the past six years.
He is well known for coaching his step-daughter Skylar Diggin's high school senior year, only losing in the state finals game.
Scott says he just does not have time nor the energy to give to the programs, and he wants to devote more to his family.
Washington High says they will soon begin the search for Coach Scott’s replacement.
