LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Porte County Sheriff's Office is seeking information pertaining to a Sunday night incident involving a commercial motor vehicle's trailer losing a tire assembly, causing property damage.
The report states a semi-truck was traveling north on US 35 in the 9000-south block when the trailer's tire assembly broke free.
The assembly then broke through a fence before striking two vehicles parked in nearby driveways.
Ring video at one of the residences captured the incident and shows the truck continued north without stopping.
Deputies say it's possible the driver was not aware at the time the tire assembly had fallen off and caused damage.
If you have information pertaining to this incident or might be the driver of the vehicle in question, you're asked to contact Deputy Howell at [email protected].
